Terms of Service — Structural-aspect

Article 1 — Applicability
These terms apply to every order placed via structural-aspect.com, between Thijs Smits, trading as Structural-aspect ("we", "us"), and the customer.

Article 2 — Products and prices
All products are manufactured to order in the colour and size selected by the customer, unless stated otherwise. Prices include 21% Dutch VAT and exclude shipping costs, unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices; for orders already placed, the price at the time of ordering applies.

Article 3 — Delivery time
The stated delivery time (4-6 weeks, specified per product) is an estimate, not a binding deadline. In case of delay, we will inform the customer as soon as possible.

Article 4 — Payment
Payment is made when placing the order, via the payment methods offered on the site (iDEAL, credit card). Production starts upon receipt of payment.

Article 5 — Shipping and transfer of risk
Shipping costs are listed per product category on the site. The risk of damage or loss during transport passes to the customer once the package has been delivered to the customer. In case of visible transport damage, the customer must report this within 48 hours of receipt via contact@structural-aspect.com, including photos of the damage and packaging.

Article 6 — Right of withdrawal
Products manufactured to order in a colour selected by the customer are not subject to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, in accordance with article 6:230p sub c of the Dutch Civil Code (custom-made products manufactured to the consumer's specifications). We inform customers of this explicitly before the order is placed.

Article 7 — Warranty and conformity
We warrant that our products conform to the agreement and possess the characteristics a customer may reasonably expect from a carefully manufactured wooden piece of furniture, given the material and intended use. In case of a manufacturing or material defect, we will take back, repair, or replace the product free of charge. Please report this within 14 days of receipt via contact@structural-aspect.com, including a description and photo of the defect. Normal wear, colour variations inherent to wood as a material, or damage caused by improper use are not covered by this warranty.

Article 8 — Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Article 9 — Governing law and disputes
Dutch law applies to this agreement. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Structural-aspect is established, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. In case of any discrepancy between this English translation and the original Dutch terms, the Dutch version prevails.
