Inspired by the Japanese style we shaped our table low and stretched out. 

The table is built out of the same XYZ principle. Where craftsmanship and construction knowledge with modern automated tools are central. The proportions system we used is the same plastic number system, inspired by Dom Hans van der Laan ,we used for the chairs and stools. With the 12mm plywood thickness as the base of the system.

The slots on both ends of the table is an outcome of the construction and serves in this case as a perfect storage for magazines or very thin items. 

The table is sandblasted before it’s finished in coloured oil. This gives a deeper structure of the wood grain and absorbs the color even better.
